New Meditation Recording-Intentions for 2012!
During Sunday’s Empowerment Call, our Spiritual Support Team took us into the future and brought through some guidance for 2012! The description is below:
Many of us set New Year’s resolutions, but have you asked your Spiritual Support Team what they’d like you to focus on this year? On this call, you will be led through a guided meditation asking for Divine input on the highest and best focus for you as you move forward into 2012.

Life Purpose Empowerment Program

Are you ready to begin living your Divine Life Purpose? This Lightworker Empowerment Program is for those sensitive souls who have learned how to nurture themselves, have grown their spiritual gifts, and are now ready to start empowering others!
About life purpose…
I believe that we all have the same essential purpose during our time on Earth and the purpose is to give and receive love in all that we think, say and do. During the process of living our lives, we encounter fears that challenge are ability to do this easily. These fears and misunderstandings make it difficult for us to nurture ourselves and develop our spiritual gifts. The self-knowledge and tools we learn in overcoming our fears is the gift we have to share with others. Ultimately, we are all Divine beings having a human experience. Learning how to live this truth helps us align with our true selves. In my book, helping others do the same is why we are here.
During this program, we will be working closely with your Spiritual Guidance to empower you to share your hard-earned wisdom. As this is very individualized based on each person’s goals and life circumstances, we will not be focusing on a specific topic each month, but instead will be asking for whatever message is needed each step of the way. The first meeting will, however, help to more clearly define what you have to share. It is recommended you complete The Sensitive Soul and Divinely You programs before embarking on this one (or that you have had similar experience) as this is an advanced program in which you will be working directly with your own intuition and spiritual support team for step-by-step guidance about your life purpose.

OPTION ONE: Small Group
Monthly 60 minute Conference Call in a small group (4-6 people)
Email group discussions with conference call group
Monthly 30 minute individual session (optional, highly recommended)

Abundance Fun and More!
I’m having the time of my life with the Abundance Fun Club and the Soul Friends’ Community! I sent out my first surprise gift of abundance last week and it felt so wonderful. Dancing With Life in 2012!
Happy New Year!
I hope you are all having a wonderful start to 2012! I have lots of exciting things in the works for this year…more on that later on in the week…for now, I’d like to share a recent posting I thought you might enjoy.
Every year, my colleagues at Sanctuary at the Crossroads and I come up with a theme to focus our writings around. This year, we are focusing on dancing with life (continuing with the butterfly theme!). My month for sharing is January. A Message for 2012: The Year of the Butterfly
I asked Spirit for something to share with all of you as we bring 2011 to an end and wait for the arrival of 2012. I found myself writing the message below and despite the fact that the calendar says the New Year begins on January 1, I feel it needed to be shared today on the day of the Winter Solstice (and my birthday too!). In contrast to the prophecies of doomsday coming in 2012, I feel the year ahead will be one of celebration for many. The new energies coming in will allow us to experience more freedom and breadth in our lives. For some who have yet to complete their time in the “cocoon” there will be new learning. For many though, we are at the end of this long journey to discover who we are and for us, the time of living with wings begins. So, with much love I share what I received spiritually and I hope you have the most joyous of holiday seasons and a truly glorious “New Year!”
I see a windswept field. Gray clouds skate across the sky and there is a cool breeze blowing. The wind blows the grasses towards me. There is a sense of immensity, of a vastness in the blending of sky and Earth. Let the winds of time wipe clean the channels of your being. Let that which has passed blow away on the wind. Let the slate be washed clean. Let the world begin anew…
Today marks the beginning of a new world. You are stepping into a new life. One in which the pain and the fear of the past no longer rule. We take what we have learned and we move into a new way of being. No longer will we let the past decide our future. No longer will we walk in the shadows of misunderstandings and victimization. Today, we begin anew. As a butterfly comes out of a cocoon after a long period of gestation, we too emerge into the light to become one with the wind. Moving from a creature that could only crawl we evolve into a creature that can fly…who can dance. Let this be the year we learn how to use our new wings. Let this be the year that we discover the beauty and the rightness of living in Divine flow. For this is the year of the butterfly…
Imagine that you are truly about to emerge from your cocoon. The days of living as a caterpillar are distant memories and the long inward journey that you have been on comes to a close. What would it feel like to climb out of the cocoon? Can you imagine going from a creature that crawls to one so completely different…to one that can fly? How strange to find yourself with these large things on your back. Can you feel them unfurl? That first tentative sweep…and imagine the joy of that first flight. The moment when the wind lifts you and instead of crashing back to Earth, you actually fly. Can you feel the glory of this? The bliss of floating gently…of dancing with the sun? Life before was so limited. You could only travel where your feet would take you. No longer is this true. You are only limited by the breadth of your imagination. You can soar to the tree tops, fly across oceans, or spend the day resting in the splendor of a flower. The world is full of possibilities and of wonder. The time is now…spread your wings and lift off.

Of the time in the cocoon: “A cocoon is woven around itself by the caterpillar, and a mummy-like pupa forms within. In this stage there is a reorganization of the caterpillar’s cells even though there is the appearance of lifelessness. Sometimes individuals need to back off, after laying a foundation, and then go deeply within so that the creation will be able to come forth strong and in new light. There are points in the creative process where we must be passive and let things take a natural course. We do what we must, and then let it move on its own. This is reflected in the chrysalis stage.”
Of the time of emerging: “From the chrysalis comes yet a new and final form-a winged insect. The fact that it has wings in its final stages is very significant, and all of the symbolism associated with wings apply to insects as well as birds. The adult only comes out of the cocoon in the warmth of spring-again reflecting the ability to go within and determine the best time to set the new creations in motion on a higher level and determine the best time to set the new creations in motion on a higher level. Wings are the emblem of the adult insect and thus the adult creation. Flight now becomes a way of life for however long the adult survives.”

Intuitive Message for the Day: Renewed Wonder
This morning, I asked for a Divinely inspired vision for all of you and I was shown a porcupine. I checked out what that means in Animal Speak by Ted Andrews (a wonderful book if you are interested in the metaphysical meanings for animals and birds). The keynote for porcupine according to Andrews is “renewed sense of wonder.” He talks about how porcupines are good-natured and move through life at their own pace. He also references the quills of a porcupine. The message of this aspect is to protect your inner child from words that can hurt you. A few questions he raises connected to this image are:
Are you allowing other people’s opinions to prevent you from exploring activities that could otherwise be fun and enjoyable?
Do you have recreational time in your life?
Are you overly sensitive to the barbs of others?
Are your barbs inappropriate or taking the joy from you?
Intuitively, I feel there is a strong resonance for many to the question of whether you are allowing other people’s opinions to influence what activities you explore. As we are all going through a vibrational shift, many are finding themselves no longer resonating with their current circumstances (career, relationships, etc.). There is a strong call to follow your Divine path and to create life circumstances and environments that will allow you to live that purpose most effectively. Are you experiencing this shift? If you are, don’t worry! Even if it seems impossible for your circumstances to change, once you align with the intention to make the shift, your Spiritual Support Team (Angels and Guides) will start bringing you opportunities to do so! In the meantime, spend as much time as you can feeling as if it has already happened.

Afformations: Positive Questioning!
I read a great article about Noah St. John and Denise Berard’s concept called “afformations” (Positive Questions) and I have to say I’m fascinated. My understanding is that by posing a positive question you are actually working more in sync with the way the brain functions. All I know is that I’ve been trying it and I can feel an instant energy shift!
Here are a few examples…
Instead of “I am happy!” try saying, “Why am I so happy?”
Instead of “I am successful!” try saying, “Why am I so successful?”
Instead of “I am loved!” try saying, “Why am I so loved?
This really reminds me of the work I’ve been doing with Organizational Coach, Lauren May (to learn more about what she does, visit her profile: http://www.CrossroadsCoachingOnline.com). Lauren is always having me imagine myself somewhere in the future where what I’m trying to achieve has already happened. She walks me through a guided visualization until I can really feel it. Asking these afformations seems to do something similar. For one, it evokes a very positive feeling. It also helps me stay engaged with where I want to go by working to answer the question. For instance, if I say to myself, “Nancy, why are you so happy?” I find my brain begins coming up with data to explain my supposed happiness. It is great to discover there are often many reasons why I am happy! And speaking of happiness…I just read a different article about happiness and it said that 40% of being happy is determined by what our thoughts are. Maybe taking time to answer our positive afformations will help us reach that 40%!
